Corrosion Simulation Sealability Test

• Determine and compare the ability of the ALKY-ONE gasket and the Spiral Wound with an Inner Kam Profile Seal (SW-IS) to accommodate existing flange corrosion.
• Use machine-chamfered flanges to simulate existing corrosion.
• Equally compress the test gaskets, introduce ink, and pressurize to 350-psi.
• Dry the test rig, disassemble, and measure the ink diameter on the test gaskets.
